Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible to manage IT assets, install and assist with all installations, rollouts of new mobile devices, tablets, desktops, and laptops to approved employees/ contractors and visitors as and when required.
Your duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: –

Support the service delivery team to ensure that user issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Collaborate with other sections in providing service delivery to the organization
-
Develop and maintain up-to-date job procedures for all tasks performed within the function

Offer 1

level and 2
nd
level technical support to end users.

Management of service desk and service level agreements (SLAs)
-
Desktop, laptop, tablets, and Mobile phone standard set up, roll out, support, repair and servicing.

IT Asset Management and IT equipment storage
-
Support business information systems such as Elements, SAP, Timeclocks System, SKF.
-
Managing all end user needs e.g. equipment problems and other IT related issues.

Work in collaboration with other IT sections to offer application support, Network Support and Server infrastructure support/Management.

Develop objectives for sharing common infrastructure and support services across Barrick and cascade this throughout function.

To be considered for the position, the applicant must have the following;
-
Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Hardware or equivalent
-
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in IT sector.

Experience in rollout of IT equipment and implementing standards.

Comptia A+ and N+ Certified
-
ITIL Foundation and Computer Hardware Repair skills
-
Experience in maintaining Microsoft Back Office Products i.e. Windows Server, Active Directory and SharePoint.

Hold a current Zambian driver’s licence
-
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
