Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an IT officer to manage all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure, with a focus on computer systems and local area network (LAN) management.

Salary: ZMW 7,000 per month

Responsibilities:

• Manage all IT infrastructure of the company, including servers, network devices, and workstations.
• Design, implement, and maintain the company’s local area network (LAN) to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Ensure the security of the company’s IT systems
• Stay up-to-date with latest trends in IT technology
• Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, software licenses, and technical documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, network administration, and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office productivity suite.
• Experience with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
