About the role:
The company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.The Accounts Assistant’s primary role is to assist in the recording and maintenance of accurate financial records. The role is tasked with overseeing all aspects of financial accounting and financial reporting. You will be charged with reporting and ensuring that management receives timely and accurate information.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.

Resolve financial discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with the Accounts Manager to support various financial functions.

Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Petty cash management including ensuring that petty cash expenses are posted correctly and that petty cash is maintained on float basis and submit for checking and updating immediately after it is reimbursed

Production of periodic Sales Analysis reports

Perform bank reconciliations of Operations Bank Accounts
Requirements
-
CA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or at least in final stages)

Experience as an Assistant Accounts Manager/ Assistant Finance Manager

Ability to use ERP Software (Knowledge of Sage ERP is a plus)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
