JOB VACANCY: JUNIOR BUYER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with Purchasing Processes:
Help in creating and managing purchase orders
Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues

Supplier Management:
Research and identify potential suppliers
Assist in negotiating prices and contract terms
Maintain and develop relationships with existing suppliers

Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock outs Assist with inventory planning and forecasting Data Management:
Maintain accurate data on suppliers, products, and inventory Prepare reports and analyses on purchasing activities Other Duties:
Assist senior buyers with various tasks
Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities Contribute to the development of purchasing strategies

Skills and Qualifications: Education & Skills:
A diploma in business, supply chain management, or a related field is often preferred.
A bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Negotiation skills Organizational skills Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
and other relevant software Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices Familiarity with
supply chain management principles
