Job Vacancy: Lean Manufacturing Specialist

Position Overview:

Lumina Ventures is hiring a Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive continuous improvement initiatives in our Lusaka facility. The Lean Manufacturing Specialist will implement lean methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis.
Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
Train employees on lean techniques and tools.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of lean initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve lean objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of lean principles and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to lead and train teams on lean practices.
