Zambia Jobs is looking for a Lean Manufacturing Specialist to lead process improvement initiatives in our production operations. The successful candidate will focus on waste reduction, process optimization, and the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve production efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve processes.
Conduct training for staff on lean practices and methodologies.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
Work with management to develop strategies for improving workflow and reducing lead times.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and process optimization skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Skills:

Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and training skills.

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement.
