EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions at the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University.

1. JOB TITLE: LECTURER; RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY – 1 POSITION

PURPOSE:

To undertake teaching activities in order to impart appropriate knowledge and skills to students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent.
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or its equivalent.
• Master of Dentistry Degree (Mdent) or its equivalent from a reputable University.
• PhD in a related field would be an added advantage.
• At least three (3) years teaching or research experience at University level;
• Must have proof of some publications.
• Must be computer literate.

2. JOB TITLE: LECTURER; PROSTHODONTICS – 1 POSITION

PURPOSE:

To undertake teaching activities in order to impart appropriate knowledge and skills to students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent.
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or its equivalent.
• Master of Dentistry Degree (Mdent) in Prosthodontics or its equivalent from a reputable University.
• PhD in a related field would be an added advantage.
• At least three (3) years teaching or research experience at University level;
• Must be computer literate.

3. JOB TITLE: LECTURER; COMMUNITY DENTISTRY – 1 POSITION

PURPOSE:

To undertake teaching activities in order to impart appropriate knowledge and skills to students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent.
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or its equivalent.
• Master of Dentistry Degree (Mdent) in Community Dentistry or its equivalent from a reputable University.
• PhD in a related field would be an added advantage.
• At least three (3) years teaching or research experience at University level;
• Must have proof of some publications.
• Must be computer literate.
