ZCAS University invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions:

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

1. Senior Lecturer or Lecturer I in Accounting and Finance (One Position)

Job Purpose: Responsible for teaching, consultancy, research and academic related tasks in the relevant field.

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics or equivalent qualification.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance with at least a Credit from a registered/accredited university.
2. Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from a registered/accredited university.
3. An earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accounting and Finance or related field from a registered / accredited university.
4. Qualification in Teaching Methodology.
5. For consideration to the Senior Lecturer position, the applicant should have supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion as a principal supervisor.
6. At least five (5) years teaching experience at a university / research institute for consideration at Senior Lecturer level, or a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience  for consideration at Lecturer I level.
7. At least ten (10) peer-reviewed publications in recognised journals in the field of specialization for consideration at Senior Lecturer level, or a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications for consideration at Lecturer I level.
8. Evidence of contribution to public service.
9. Member of a professional body.

SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES

1. Senior Lecturer or Lecturer I in Economics (One Position)

Job Purpose: Responsible for teaching, consultancy, research and academic related tasks                        in the relevant field.

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Economics and Finance with at least a Credit from a registered/accredited university.
3. Master’s degree in Economics/ Economics and Finance from a registered/accredited university.
4. An earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics or related field from a registered / accredited university.
5. Qualification in Teaching Methodology.
6. For consideration to the Senior Lecturer position, the applicant should have supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion as a principal supervisor.

Qualifications:

2. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related qualification with at least a Credit from a registered/accredited university.
3. Master’s degree in Project Management from a registered/accredited university.
4. An earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Project Management from a registered / accredited university.
5. Qualification in Teaching Methodology.

Job Purpose: Responsible for teaching, consultancy, research and academic related tasks                        in the relevant field.

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or related qualification with at least a Credit from a registered/accredited university.
3. Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from a registered/accredited university.
4. An earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Monitoring and Evaluation from a registered / accredited university.

• Qualification in Teaching Methodology.
• For consideration to the Senior Lecturer position, the applicant should have supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion as a principal supervisor.

4. Lecturer  in Human Resource Management (One Position)

Job Purpose: Responsible for teaching, consultancy, research and academic related tasks                        in the relevant field.

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with at least a credit from a registered / accredited university.
3. Master’s degree  in Human Resource Management from a registered / accredited university.

1. Teaching Methodology qualification.
2. Teaching years’ experience in a higher education institution, and number of peer-reviewed publications will be added advantage and will determine the level of appointment.
3. Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).

SCHOOL OF COMPUTING, TECHNOLOGY AND APPLIED SCIENCES

1. Senior Lecturer or Lecturer I in Computer Science (One Position)

Job Purpose: Responsible for teaching, consultancy, research and academic related tasks                        in the relevant field.

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
2. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with at least a Credit from a registered/accredited university.
3. Master of Science in Computer Science from a registered/accredited university.
4. An earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from a registered / accredited university.
5. Qualification in Teaching Methodology.

2. Lecturer in Computer Science or Information Technology (Two Positions)

Job Purpose: Responsible for teaching, consultancy, research and academic related tasks                                    in the relevant field.

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
2. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with at least a credit from a registered / accredited university.
3. Master of Science in Computer Science from a registered / accredited university.
4. Teaching Methodology qualification.
5. Teaching years’ experience in a higher education institution, and number of peer-reviewed publications will be added advantage and will determine the level of appointment.

• Member of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
