Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Officer located in Lusaka Province, Zambia. The Legal Officer will be responsible for legal consulting, legal document preparation, contract law, business law, and other legal-related tasks. They will assist in drafting employment contracts, managing labor and court cases, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal consulting, legal document preparation, and contract law
• Knowledge of business law and employment laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent research and drafting abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field
• Experience in HR/labor consultancy is a plus
