Zambia Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistician to manage the movement of goods and materials across various supply chains. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations, contributing to timely deliveries and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
Track the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to streamline logistics operations.
Manage inventory levels and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor and optimize shipping and delivery routes.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Maintain records of logistics operations and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of logistics software and inventory management systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Skills:

Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
