Job Vacancy: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description:

North Star is looking for a highly organized and efficient Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the logistics operations in Lusaka. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure the smooth transportation of goods, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate logistics operations.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and customers.
• Monitor logistics performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with logistics policies and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain logistics reports and documentation.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in logistics operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of logistics processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in logistics management software.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics coordination.
