Zambia Jobs is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth functioning of machinery and equipment within the facility. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and make necessary repairs.
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with the production team to address any equipment-related issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Education:

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
• Knowledge of maintenance management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
