MANAGER BUSINESS STRATEGY (ZI4)
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for coordinating the formulation and execution process of ZSIC Life Strategic Plan, execution, monitoring, review and reporting to ensure that the business achieves long term success and attains its vision.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
KPI. 1 Planning
Coordinates the planning and development of business strategy in line with the company’s strategy formulation framework.
KPI. 2 Strategy Formulation
Leads in identification of strategic opportunities for establishing smart and attainable strategic objectives for the business.
KPI. 3 Intelligence Research
Scans the market through intelligence research and galvanizes critical data for altering the course of the business or strategy where appropriate.
KPI. 4 Strategy Alignment
Collaborates with Heads of Departments to ensure formulated operational strategies are aligned with business annual focus area and support the successful delivery of the strategic plan.
KPI. 5 Performance Monitoring
Develops and utilizes appropriate monitoring tools to track and evaluate performance deliverables for each strategic unit to monitor progress.
KPI. 6 Strategy Reports
Designs and implements impact reporting mechanism to Management and the Board on quarterly basis for decision making.
KPI. 7 Secretarially role
Coordinates and attends Executive Management meetings as Secretary and follows through for action by HODs and communicates resolutions promptly.
KPI. 8 Communication
Communicates key Management resolutions to appropriate audiences and tracks through for execution and updates.
KPI 9 Audit Tracking
Coordinates Audit tracker and engages Heads of departments on progress to ensure complete resolution of Audit findings.
KPI 10. Risk Management Tracking
Working with Manager Risk and Compliance coordinates the action log with Heads of departments to ensure planned interventions and strategies are executed to prevent identified risks.
