Job Description
Position: MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Location: Lusaka
Age: 25 to 45 years
About Us
Mansa Sugar Ltd was established in 2015 and is located in Chembe District of Luapula province. We produce Household/Brown sugar, and Molasses for both Domestic and Export markets.
Our Distribution/Sales Depots include, Chembe, Kitwe and Lusaka, while our Distribution model include Distributors, Wholesalers, Modern Trade and Direct Retail (Depot and Van Sales).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Planning, Recommending, and Coordinating Electronic, Print, and Outdoor Promotional
Activities.
- Sponsorship Events.
- New Product Development (NPD) projects. Sales Support/POS materials.
- Brand Awareness Promotion Activities.
- Participation in Trade Shows / Expos.
- Participation in Traditional Ceremonies and other Social / Marketing Events.
- Media Agency Activities.
Implementing, Analysis and Reporting of Marketing Surveys / Research activities.
Trade visitations and Gathering & Timely provision of Market intelligence.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports with Recommendations for Management Decision Making.
Supervision of In-store Merchandisers.
Monitoring of Modern Trade Stores Sales and Relationships Management with Store Managers.
Any other Assigned/Delegated duties.
Education Requirements
- University Degree/Professional Diploma in Marketing or other relevant Business related field.
Experience
Preference will be given to applicants with proven relevant Work Experience in marketing field.
Skills Required
- Both Oral & Written communication. Marketing Plans & Business Development, Marketing/Market Research / Both Quantitative & Qualitative Data Analysis and Reporting
- Self Sufficiency in Computers (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Media Relations
- Events Management
- Ability to establish priorities, plan, coordinate, implement and monitor work plan.
Working Tools
Preferably should have own car (appropriate Car usage/Maintenance Allowance, will be paid).
