Job Purpose
The role of Marketing in the company is a very key role, as it leads to business development, growth and sustainability. The candidates in this role must be versatile, agile, focused, with apparent levels of ambition for personal growth and that of the company, the role requires persons that can read numbers, able to follow through the sales growth, and take corrective action when sales decline. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of the Financial services sector, especially the Credit and Insurance market, and must be willing to learn, they should be strategic in their approach and also be good report writers and Team players, the candidates must be in a position to research the market and devise effective methods to increase sales .
Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Marketing of the company’s products and Services

Selling of the company’s Products and services
-
Research and development
-
Identifying suitable markets for sales growth and Increasing the Distribution Channels
-
Introducing new customers and good customer relationship management.
-
Retention of existing customers and devising strategies to retain customers.
-
Preparation of an annual Marketing Plan and Budget
-
Following through the Marketing Budget and reporting any variances to Management.
-
Issuance of marketing and Sales documents and business placing slips.
-
Ensuring the image of the company is preserved positively and creating awareness.
-
Leading and monitoring the sales teams.
-
Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Reports.

Liason with stakeholders on Business related matters,
-
Liason with advertising Agents and internal and external image promoters of the Company
-
See all marketing activities to completion and evaluate them in order of expectation and set goals
-
Plan and coordination of department Marketing activities, reporting activities to Management.

Maintaining a Data base of clients and customers for ease of reference and KYC (Know your customer)

Segmenting Customer requirements to ensure products and services are aligned in accordance with market suitability.

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualification and experience
-
Diploma in Marketing or any Business field
-
Must have at least 3-5 years practical working experience in Marketing in the Financial services sector
-
Marketing experience of
banking services and Insurance is key
-
A minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in Advertising / Branding or Public Relations will be a plus
-
Strong and confident communicator.

Must be well networked
-
Must be a Team Player or a people person
-
Must be creative and innovative
-
Proven knowledge of social media and web analytics.
-
Must be Computer literate: MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), email (Outlook) and the ability to learn and use other software packages
-
Must have a valid driver’s license

Must be a member of ZIM
