What this position is about:
This position exists to support our operations in Kaoma in ensuring that all motorcycles, tractors and other company machinery on site are inspected, serviced, and repaired so that they remain in good working condition. The incumbent will coordinate with all departments to ensure coherence and understanding of workshop operations as well as perform other site workshop functions to ensure that spare parts are free from risk in line with company policies.
What you will be doing:

Mechanical Knowledge: Inspect motor bikes and company machinery and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality and troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner aiming for maximum reliability.

Inventory Management: Ensure monthly reconciliation of all workshop items and spare parts.

Safety: Provide safe work environment in line with Environmental Health and Safety policy and procedures and maintain acceptable housekeeping standards within the workshop.
Your Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma in auto repair/mechanics

3-5 years’ experience in repairing motor bikes.

Knowledge on diagnosis and repair of Yamaha and Honda motor bikes is an added advantage.

Able to diagnose and repair other automotive engines or machinery e.g., tractors, generator, etc.

Self-disciplined, organized and structured multi-tasker with efficient project and management skills.

Ability to operate a variety of small hand tools and adhere to safety guidelines.
