Job Description: Prosper Zambia is hiring a Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair work on vehicles. The Mechanic will diagnose issues, conduct repairs, and ensure that vehicles are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Replace or repair defective parts and components.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment.

Requirements:

Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; a vocational or technical certification in automotive repair is preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic or in a similar role.
