Ducorp Zambia Limited
is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in both mechanical and electrical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the grain industry, with expertise in operating and maintaining grain cleaning machines and managing plant machinery, including conveyors.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, and repair grain cleaning machines and plant machinery, ensuring optimal performance.

Manage and oversee the functionality of conveyors and other equipment in the grain processing plant.

Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical issues, minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.

Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and components associated with grain processing machinery.

Implement and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical and electrical systems.

Monitor electrical panels, troubleshoot electrical faults, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Collaborate with the production andmaintenance teams to optimize machine performance and streamline operations.
Qualifications and Experience:

A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience working in the grain industry is essential.

Hands-on expertise with grain cleaning machines, conveyor systems, and electrical systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both mechanical and electrical domains.

Knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory standards in industrial settings.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
