BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING MANAGER
Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Millennium Television Ltd (MTV) is a dynamic and fast-growing media house committed to delivering quality news, entertainment, and educational programming to our audience across Zambia and beyond. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to row the station’s audience and revenue. Identify, pursue, and close business opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorship deals.
Draft compelling business proposals, concept notes, and sponsorship packages tailored to client needs.
Manage contracts with clients, advertisers, and partners to ensure compliance and delivery of agreed terms.
Lead the formulation and execution of the station’s business growth strategy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertisers, and corporate partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate with production and programming teams to align marketing efforts with content strategy.
Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and business development outcomes.
Be accountable for all business development, sales and marketing staff.
Accountable for the delivery of the business development, sales and marketing strategies and targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Degree will be an added advantage).
Reasonable experience in business development, sales and marketing, or related roles – preferably in the media or advertising industry.
Strong skills in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and client relationship management.
Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
