OneZambia is seeking a Mining Engineer to manage and optimize mining operations. The Mining Engineer will be involved in planning, designing, and supervising mining activities to ensure efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement mining plans and operations
• Oversee mining processes and ensure safety and environmental compliance
• Conduct site evaluations and manage mining equipment
• Collaborate with geologists and other engineers
• Analyze and optimize mining operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
• Proven experience in mining engineering and operations
• Strong knowledge of mining processes and safety regulations
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in mining software and MS Office
