Job Summary:
Ndola Prime is seeking a skilled Mining Surveyor to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and assessments to support mining operations. Your expertise in surveying techniques and technologies will be essential in ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Site Surveys:
Conduct detailed surveys of mining sites to establish boundaries, grades, and other critical data necessary for planning and operations. Utilize modern surveying equipment and software to ensure precision.

Data Analysis:
Analyze survey data and prepare comprehensive reports that provide insights for mining operations, including resource estimation and land use planning.

Collaboration:
Work closely with mining engineers, geologists, and other stakeholders to provide accurate survey data that informs project planning and execution.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all surveying activities. Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports to regulatory authorities.

Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain surveying equipment in good working condition. Ensure that all tools and instruments are calibrated and ready for use.

Training and Mentoring:
Provide training and guidance to junior surveyors and field personnel on surveying techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in mining surveying or a related role.

Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GPS technology.
