Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Job Description: Savanna Synergy is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to oversee the tracking and assessment of project performance. The M&E Officer will be responsible for developing monitoring systems, analyzing data, and ensuring projects meet their goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans for projects.
• Collect and analyze data to assess project performance and impact.
• Prepare M&E reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
• Provide recommendations for project improvements based on data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with M&E standards and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of M&E principles and practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to develop and implement M&E systems effectively.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in M&E software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation or a similar role.
