Job Summary:

The Fuel Tank Assistant supports the fueling operations by assisting with the safe handling, storage, and dispensing of fuel. Ensures compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in refueling vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor fuel levels and report shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the fueling area.
• Check for leaks, spills, and report any irregularities.
• Keep accurate fuel usage logs and delivery records.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of fuel.

Requirements

• Diploma in any relevant field.
• Basic understanding of fuel handling safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

2. Data Clerk

Job Summary :

The Data Clerk is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate records in databases and filing systems. Supports administrative and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Input and update data in electronic systems
• Verify data accurately and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems.
• Generate routine reports for management as required.
• Assist with document scanning and archiving.

Requirements ;

• Diploma in administration, IT, or related field.
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

3. Scale Man

Job Summary:

The Scale Man is responsible for weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and compliance with load regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the weighbridge to record vehicle weights.
• Ensure correct documentation of all weigh-ins/outs.
• Communicate with drivers and yard staff for smooth traffic flow.
• Detect and report overloads or discrepancies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of scale equipment

Requirements:

• Diploma in logistics or relevant field.
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good numeracy and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (weighbridge software experience preferred).

4. Security Personnel

Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding the company’s premises, assets, and personnel by monitoring access and reporting any suspicious activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control access at entry and exit points.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems.
• Report incidents, breaches, or hazards.
• Assist during emergencies and evacuations.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Security management.
• Physical fitness and alertness.
• Experience in industrial or warehouse security is preferred.
• Ability to write reports and follow procedures.

5. Weighbridge Operator

Job Summary:

The Weighbridge Operator manages the weighbridge system to ensure accurate weighing of trucks and documentation of goods in/out of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh vehicles entering and exiting the site.
• Generate weight tickets and ensure correct documentation.
• Verify vehicle loads and ensure compliance with legal weight limits.
• Communicate with drivers and yard staff effectively.
• Maintain weighbridge records and daily reports.

Requirements :

• Diploma in logistics.
• Experience with weighbridge systems/software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

6. Yard Controller

Job Summary:

The Yard Controller oversees the daily movement of vehicles and materials within the yard, ensuring efficient flow and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate entry, parking, and exit of trucks and trailers.
• Maintain up-to-date yard inventory records.
• Direct drivers and equipment within the yard safely.
• Liaise with dispatch and weighbridge teams.
• Conduct routine checks of yard conditions and report hazards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in yard operations or logistics.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety and traffic management within yards.
