TRUCK REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN – HUNTLEY FARM (MAIN WORKSHOP) x2
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
-
Replacing or repairing defective parts such as compressors, thermostats, and expansion valves
-
Using tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
-
Explaining system operations, maintenance procedures, and repair needs to customers.
-
Responding to emergency repair calls and working to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
-
Performing routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
-
Diagnosing and repairing faults in refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical issues.
-
Checking and replacing filters, belts, and other components as needed.
-
Ensuring systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
-
Installing new refrigeration systems.
Qualifications and Experience:

Full grade 12 Certificate
-
Craft certificate/better in refrigeration and air conditioning
-
Practical experience in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems.

Must be a member of EIZ.

STORES ASSISTANT – HUNTLEY FARM (TECH WORKSHOP) x1
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
-
Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming tools, components, spare parts, and workshop materials.
-
Issuing materials and tools to technicians as per job card or requisition slips.
-
Conduct periodic stock checks and assist in inventory audits.
-
Label and categorize stock items for easy identification and retrieval.
-
Ensuring the store area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
-
Reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Workshop Manager.
-
Assisting in procurement by preparing material requisitions and liaising with the purchasing team.
-
Monitoring the return of unused tools or materials to stock.
-
Supporting workshop operations by ensuring tools are serviced and calibrated as required.
-
Maintaining an organized and clean store environment in line with safety and operational standards.
-
Coordinating returns and repairs of faulty tools and equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Full Grade Twelve (12) School certificate
-
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, business administration, and any Business-related field.

1–2 years’ experience in a store/ or workshop environment.

Valid driver’s license.
