1. Commercial Manager

Job Overview:

The Commercial Department represents the frontline of the organization. Managing and executing the sales and marketing facet of Limestone Resources limited. Our products feed in the mining, construction, manufacturing, and Agricultural industries locally and beyond. The Senior Product Application Advisor is a product expert position covering all the activities of marketing and the eventual sales of our product portfolio.

The Commercial Manager position is hierarchically linked to the Commercial Director. The marketing environment nevertheless requires active collaboration with other employees (e.g. Mining, Production, Finance Specialist, Supply teams, Product line managers, Communication etc.).

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A result-driven and organized individual with prudent management of cash and electronic equipment.
  • Valid Professional Membership
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

2. Human Resource & Occupational Health Manager

Job Overview:

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This key role provides visionary and strategic leadership to the Human Resource & Occupational Health Department. The role facilitates business planning, strategic planning, restructuring, organization development interventions, modelling, and branding of corporate culture to reposition the company in the dynamic and competitive business environment. It supports a professional team of Heads of Departments across the plant in areas of manpower planning, recruitment & selection, compensation, employee relations, training & development, talent management, occupational health, staff welfare and corporate social responsibility. The role ensures that human resource & occupational health services are provided within budget and are strictly compliant to relevant statutory regulations to prevent business risks.

Requirements

3. Head of Procurement

Job Overview:

To plan, direct and control the procurement function effectively and in accordance with laid down procedures to sustain the smooth operations of the Company.

Accountabilities/Tasks

  • Develops and maintains a close working partnership with a range of stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Leads the procurement direction working with multi disciplinary teams to be able to maximise savings potential through efficient and effective purchasing arrangements
  • Guides and coordinates the development and preparation of the Bid documents/tenders/Terms of Reference (TORs)/ and Request for Proposal (RFP) and obtain appropriate authorisation.
  • Guides and coordinates the development and preparation of criteria that ensure objective and consistent evaluation of bids, EOI and proposals so that the most responsive Supplier/Consultant/Contractor is selected;
  • Reviews and guides the Bid Evaluation Report (BER), Technical and Financial Report and the Combined Technical and Financial Report to ensure consistence and objectiveness;
  • Ensures publication of the best evaluated bidder and circulate same to all bidders that participated in National and International Bidding.

  • Manages local and foreign suppliers effectively to facilitate efficient and timely provision of goods to sustain smooth operations of the company.
  • Maintains effective liaison with Clearing Agents, Banks, and Insurance companies, Government Ministries, i.e., Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development and Zambia Revenue Authority, to manage the foreign procurement function efficiently and effectively to facilitate smooth Company operations.
  • Ensures availability of optimum stocks to sustain Company operations.
  • Prepares weekly/monthly reports on all procurement activities undertaken during the period under review for Management;
  • Coordinates the preparation and updating of the annual procurement plan to meet approved requirements of the Limestone Resources Limited and Group

Manages Suppliers effectively, to procure quality goods and services at competitive prices and terms and achieve low input costs

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

4. Risk Officer

Job Overview:

To facilitate the implementation of the enterprise risk management policy and framework at the company.

Accountabilities/Tasks

  • Strategic Risk Management in terms of facilitating the compilation of the strategic plan at the company,Facilitates the identification of risk assessment of risk and mitigation of risks, to facilitate the compliance of the annual company action plans and departmental action plans for the company and to facilitate the monitoring of the implementation of the company and departmental action plans.
  • Operational Risk in terms of facilitating the identification of operational risks to the business, assessment of risks and mitigation of risks in the Company and facilitating the monitoring of the operational risks in the company.
  • Fraud Risk-to ensure implementation and monitoring of the ethics program at the Company.
  • Compliance Risk -To identify the applicable laws and regulations for the company and conducting investigations into alleged improprieties at the company, monitoring the adherence to applicable laws and regulations at the company and to review the internal and external audit reports for the company to ensure compliance with policies and procedure and to update the compliance dashboard as appropriate.
  • Business Continuity risk-To ensure the company has implemented business continuity plans.
  • Systems in development, policies and procedures -To ensure controls are embedded in systems in development, new and reviewed policies, and procedures.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

l  Bachelor’s degree or professional Qualifications.

l  Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

l  Certification in Risk Management.

l  Professional Membership

l  Should have at least 4 years’ work experience in a similar position.
