Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU) is a privately owned university accredited by the Higher Education Authority under the Higher Education Amendment Act No. 23 of 2021 to provide higher education in medical education. LAMU is regulated by the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ), Nursing & Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), and the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA).

LAMU is looking for mature, proactive, highly motivated, and result-oriented Zambians with a high degree of credibility to fill the following positions:

1. FACULTY OF MEDICINE

Senior Lecturer/Clinical Consultant Paediatrician

Qualifications:

• MBChB
• MMED or equivalent
• Age: 35 to 65 years

Experience:

• 7 years of experience at Senior Clinical Consultant / Senior Lecturer level.

2. FACULTY OF NURSING

Lecturer

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Master of Science in Nursing
• Must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) and have a current practicing license.

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of teaching experience with a Teaching Methodology Certificate.

3. Tutor and Clinical Instructor

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) and have a current practicing license.

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of teaching experience with a Teaching Methodology Certificate.

4. Assistant Registrar

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent
• Bachelor of Education, Public Administration, or any Social Sciences degree
• At least two (2) years of working experience in a similar job
• Must be computer literate with knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
