Job Description

Palabana University, a public university under the Ministry of Education, is a centre of excellency that provides world-class teaching, research, and innovative services relevant to sustainable agricultural development. The university is affiliated with the Higher Education Authority of Zambia. The University, which is located about 40kms East of Lusaka, now invites applications from suitably qualified Zambians for the following positions;

1. JOB TITLE: SENIOR LECTURER – 2 POSITIONS – (SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT)

PURPOSE: To teach, conduct research and carry out other academic and consultancy related tasks.

PURPOSE: To teach, conduct research and carry out other academic and consultancy related tasks.

5. JOB TITLE: LECTURER – 1 POSITION -SCHOOL OF NATURAL AND ICT – LECTURER MATHEMATICS

PURPOSE: To teach, conduct research and carry out other academic and consultancy related tasks.

6. JOB TITLE: LECTURER – 1 POSITIONS (SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT)

PURPOSE: To teach, conduct research and carry out other academic and consultancy related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

7. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR – ACADEMIC – 1 POSITION

PURPOSE: Responsible for planning, coordinating, providing administration and human resource management services to Management, academic and non-academic communities in the University.

QUALIFICATIONS:

8 ASSISTANT REGISTRAR-ADMINISTRATION – 1 POSITION

PURPOSE: Responsible for planning, coordinating, providing administration and human resource management services to Management, academic and non-academic communities in the University.

QUALIFICATIONS:

9. MANAGER – PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES

PURPOSE: Responsible for planning, organizing and supervising the procurement functions for the University in compliance with Zambian Public Procurement Laws and international procurement regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

10. MANAGER-ICT

PURPOSE: Responsible for planning, leading, and overseeing the design, development, installation, management, and maintenance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems within the University. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of ICT systems and services throughout the institution

QUALIFICATIONS

11. ACCOUNTANT

PURPOSE: Responsible for budgeting, coordinating and implementation of financial reporting activities and other accounting functions in the School/University.

QUALIFICATIONS

12. INTERNAL AUDITOR

PURPOSE: Responsible for budgeting, coordinating and implementation of financial reporting activities and other accounting functions in the University

QUALIFICATIONS
