A Private Company in Lusaka is looking for qualified individuals to fill the following vacancies

1. NETWORK SPECIALIST – WEBSITES

General

Responsible and involvement in a range of activities required by the organization. These cover areas such as web developing, internet sites, web site designing, liaise with customers, troubleshooting, training for websites designed and managing the web hosting infrastructure.

Responsibility

The Network Specialist – websites is responsible to the Head – Networks.

Main Duties

• Carrying out duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Creating and maintaining logical structure of the company internet sites.
• Liaising with clients on the conceptualization, specification, design implementation and maintenance of Internet sites.
• Updating and managing the company Corporate website
• Designing and developing Websites and Web applications using technologies such as Dreamweaver, HTML5, PHP, Mysql, Javascript, CSS, XML, WordPress, Joomla and other CMS’s!
• Conduct website content management training
• Designing and developing company corporate web portals
• Troubleshooting Website problems and determining and implementing possible solutions.
• Configure and upload websites and web applications
• Web server and web accounts administration
• Conduct requirements analysis to determine best suited solutions for clients
• Providing website support to customersManage website hosting platforms from hardware to application layers
• Ensure website hosting platforms have adequate resources such as CPU, memory, storages and network capacity
• Help customer resolve web related problems on time.
• Provide support to other areas of the networks sections as assigned by the supervisor
• Generate weekly reports on website performance – website availability and for all outages recorded in the week.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Head – Networkers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Knowledge.

• Knowledge of PHP, HTTP or other relevant programming environments
• Working knowledge of operating system such as Win 98/WinNT/200
• Knowledge of database system
• Hardware virtualization

Skills

• Time Management skills
• Ability to prepare reports
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills

Personal Attribute

• Good general background in Information Technology
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a small team
• The ability to work to tight time schedules and within budget
• Personally well motivated and able to work with minimum supervision

Qualifications/Experience

• Grade Twelve Certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• Knowledge of PHP, HTTP or other relevant programming environments
• Working knowledge of operating systems such as Win 98/WinNT/2000
• A thorough knowledge of publishing from databases using appropriate interface software agents
• Knowledge of standard design methodologies

2. ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Specifically, the Assistant Accountant shall be accountable to the accountant for the following: –

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing of Payments cheque and Bank Transfer
• Carrying out reconciliations on a daily basis matching receipts to deposit slip totals in order to ensure good record keeping
• Reconciling all the bank accounts
• Submitting to ZRA/PAYE/NAPSA/NHIMA forms on a monthly basis
• Filling vouchers in order to reflect an accurate position of the financial status of the Institute
• Maintaining records of documents such as cash books, bank transactions, foreign exchange transactions and payment vouchers
• Capturing and posting of receipts and payments into the accounting system
• Preparing an internal cash flow statement on a weekly basis to ensure there are funds available before any payments are mad
• Banking and withdrawing the company’s cash as instructed by superiors
• Maintain fixed Asset Register

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Level II of ZICA/ACCA/CIMA (Bachelor’s degree in accounting)
• Full Grade Twelve Certificate with credits or better
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong excel skills and knowledge of an accounting package preferably pastel
• Must be a paid-up member of ZICA

3.  CASHIER

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The incumbent shall carry out receipting cash and bank transfers.
• Handling Petty cash
• Bank and Petty cash reconciliations
• The Officer will be required to be preparing bank transactions involving banking, withdrawing and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate
• ZICA qualifications or ACCA level 2
• Computer literature
• Ability to work under pressure
