The University of Zambia (UNZA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

1. MANAGER PROCUREMENT

PURPOSE:

Responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the procurement activities in the University in compliance with local and international procurement regulations.

2. MANAGER, STRATEGIC PLANNING

PURPOSE:

Responsible for coordinating the strategic planning, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluating the University of Zambia’s performance in relation to the Strategic Plan.

3. DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

PURPOSE:

Responsible for developing and implementing Strategic Business Plans, and overseeing the operations of the University of Zambia Business Ventures.

MEDICAL OFFICER

PURPOSE:

Responsible for providing and managing the provision of health services to the University Community.

5. RESIDENT ENGINEER

PURPOSE:

Responsible for managing activities pertaining to estate management, construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of University Infrastructure, plant and equipment.

6. CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

PURPOSE:

Responsible for planning, organising, coordinating and directing all security operations of the University.

7. CHIEF ACCOUNTANT, FINANCIAL REPORTING

PURPOSE:

To manage the processing of financial transactions, budget preparation and the budgetary control process in accordance with the University’s financial regulations in order to ensure production of accurate and timely financial reports.
