Job Description

The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) is a Statutory Body established under the Tourism and Hospitality Act No. 13 of 2015. The Act mandates the Zambia Tourism Agency to effectively market and promote Zambia as a tourism and travel destination of choice and to regulate the tourism industry.

VACANCIES

The Zambia Tourism Agency wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill the following vacant positions:

1.0 MANAGER-COMMUNICATIONS AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Manager-Communications and Corporate Affairs is responsible for Corporate Communications activities in order to build and maintain a positive image for the Agency.

2.0 HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Reporting to the Head – Human Resource and Administration, the Human Resource & administration Officer is responsible for undertaking the human resource and administration functions in order to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the Agency.

3.0 MANAGER-QUALITY ASSURANCE

Reporting to the Chief Standards Officer, the Manager – Quality Assurance will be responsible to coordinate and supervise the development and review of minimum requirements, Tourism and Hospitality Standards in order to make Zambia a more competitive destination.

4.0 EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant is responsible for the administrative and secretarial services in order to facilitate smooth operations for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.

5.0 POLICY, PLANNING AND INFORMATION OFFICER

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Policy, Planning and Information, the Policy, Planning and Information Officer will undertake the formulation and implementation of policies, strategies, and plans that will drive the growth and development of the tourism industry in Zambia.
