Job Summary:
Ndola Prime is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Your expertise in networking technologies will be essential in supporting our operations and enhancing our connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Management: Monitor and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure that the network operates efficiently and securely.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, performance issues, and security breaches. Provide technical support to users as needed.
Configuration and Installation: Configure and install network devices and software. Collaborate with vendors to procure and implement new networking solutions.
Security Implementation: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Regularly assess network security and respond to potential threats.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. Prepare reports on network performance and incidents for management review.
Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance activities to ensure that the infrastructure remains current and capable of supporting business needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in network administration or a related role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security practices.
Proficiency in network management tools and software.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
