STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Advanced University degree in Public Health Nutrition, Nutrition, Food Technology, Medicine or other relevant field.
National Professional:
Fluency (level C) in English language.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
The Nutritionist will serve as the Strategic Outcome 2 Manager in the Country Office, overseeing the nutrition team and managing the portfolio of nutrition activities in the Country Strategic Plan. S/he will report to the Deputy Country Director.
JOB PURPOSE
To provide support to nutrition programmes and activities to contribute to meeting the nutritional needs of WFP beneficiaries.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
As Strategic Outcome 2 (Nutrition) Manager, lead a team of staff to design, implement and manage nutrition activities in WFP’s Country Strategic Plan in Zambia.
