Job Description:
North Star is seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Administrator to manage and oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our office in Lusaka. The Office Administrator will ensure the smooth running of the office and help improve company procedures and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly.

Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately.

Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.

Manage office budget and expense reports.

Ensure the office is clean, organized, and functional.

Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Office Manager, or similar role.

Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook, in particular).

Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g., fax machines and printers).

Familiarity with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang.
Education:

Diploma; additional qualification in Office Administration or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

At least 3-5 years of experience in office administration.
