Our company seeks an office Cleaner/Cook to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and cooking duties. The ideal candidate must have relevant professional cleaning and cooking experience, and is efficient in cooking, mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and other custodial duties. We are looking for hardworking individuals to implement a high standard of cleanliness for our office The cleaner should also be able to remove stains from various surfaces
Cleaning Duties and Responsibilities
– Clean work spaces, common areas, offices, hallways, and bathrooms
– Sweep, mop, and buff hardwood floors as needed
– Dust and polish various surfaces
– Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures
– Cleaning doors, windows and window seals
– Ensure both floor and walls tiles are scrubbed once a week
– Ensure walls are clean at all times and scrubbed once a week
– Ensure kitchen unit, utensils, sink, fridge and stove are clean at all times
– Ensure outside surroundings, alley and the water tank are clean
– Liaising with operations to ensure that there is sufficient cleaning products at all times
– Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process
– Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done
– Restock bathrooms with supplies
– Empty trash bins from kitchen and bathroom areas
– Keep track of cleaning schedule
– Any other duty as assigned by supervisor
Cooking Duties and Responsibilities
– Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food for the team
– Clean food preparation areas and maintain hygiene standards
– Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
– Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
– Clean the kitchen
– Buying groceries for the kitchen
– May record inventory and/or order stock
– Prepare menu for the week
– Wash dishes and utensils after use
– Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Office Cleaner Requirements and Qualifications
– Prior cleaning experience
– Previous cooking experience (highly preferred)
– Excellent communication skills
– A high standard for cleanliness
– Attention to detail
– Ability to follow instructions
– Time-management skills
– Excellent organizational skills.
– Physical stamina
– Able to pass a background check/drug screening
– High school certificate
– Food production certificate
– Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
– Experience in using cooking utensils
– Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
– Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
