Job Description:
North Star is looking for a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our office in Lusaka. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office and improving company procedures and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly.

Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately.

Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.

Manage office budget and expense reports.

Ensure the office is clean, organized, and functional.

Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant.

Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).

Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g., fax machines and printers).

Familiarity with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang.
Education:

Diploma; additional qualification in Office Administration or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

At least 3-5 years of experience in office administration.
