Job description:
Purpose
Act as the point of contact for all employees under the Production Department by providing administrative and Logistics support.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.

Prepare manning reports at the end of each of shift.

Coordinate all training activities in liason with training department

Assist H/R in the administration of discipline in the respective crew.

Prepare, process and review a variety of documents such as leave applications, sick notes, charge forms etc.

Request for PPE and maintain department supplies such as stationary and groceries, and keeping record of such and monitoring the usage.

Provide HR support and advice to supervisors and line managers in order to develop the skills and capabilities of staff.

Maintain good industrial harmony by ensuring well-coordinated communication on all employee wellness issues and implementation of policies and procedures.

Monitor employees’ attendance, investigate, understand causes for staff absences and recommend solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties.

Ensuring all payroll inputs are submitted to HR in time.

Provide guidance to production supervisors in relation to availability of man power and machinery.

Conduct crew induction to new employees joining the respective crew.

Accurately manage exceptions and capture data in Workday.

Coordinate daily/weekly attendance reports to H/R and HODs
-
May also assist employees by answering routine questions; and distribute and explain forms

Any duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications

Grade 12 Certificate
-
Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent
Experience

1-Year work experience in a similar role.
