Job Title: Operations & Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and well-organized Operations & Marketing Manager to lead the administrative and marketing functions of a dynamic company involved in medical equipment  and medical consumables. Based in Lusaka, Zambia, the successful candidate will ensure efficient internal operations while actively promoting business growth through strategic marketing and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration & Operations:

Oversee daily business operations, including marketing, inventory management, equipment sales, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure proper documentation of all sales agreements, client records, and consumables transactions.
Supervise administrative, logistics, and support teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all products and operations comply with local standards.
Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, expenditure control, and financial reporting.

Marketing & Business Development:

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
Identify and engage new clients including hospitals, clinics, NGOs, and private healthcare providers.
Promote products through client visits, product demonstrations, conferences, and digital marketing.
Strengthen the company’s brand through targeted communications, social media engagement, and promotional campaigns.
Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years experience in the medical supplies or healthcare sector in a similar operations or marketing role.
Strong knowledge of medical equipment, diagnostic products, and healthcare consumables.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in marketing tools, Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and drive results with minimal supervision.

A reputable retail pharmacy store based in Lusaka is seeking to recruit a full-time Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director and will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately and professionally.
Provide advice and information to customers on the safe use of medications, health management, and minor ailments.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, guidelines, and ethical standards as prescribed by ZAMRA and HPCZ.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, stock, and controlled drugs.
Supervise pharmacy support staff and ensure high standards of customer care.
Manage inventory, conduct stock checks, and ensure timely ordering of pharmaceutical products.
Support marketing and promotional activities for pharmacy services.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and practicing license with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ).
At least 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Attributes:

Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Team player with leadership potential.
