Job Purpose

The Operations Manager will lead and oversee the daily operations of our insurance company. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business development activities and the operational execution of insurance products.  This role is critical in ensuring that all processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The Insurance Operations Manager will be responsible for managing teams, streamlining workflows, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to industry regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree in Pensions, Insurance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Must have at least a minimum of  6+ years of experience in operations management within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in Customer Service and Claims Management
  • Working as Operation Manager with an Insurance Company or a Broker will be a plus
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, claims processes, and regulatory compliance in Zambia
  • Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Proven knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements.
  • Must be a member of a relevant professional body
