Job Vacancy: Operations Manager

Position Overview:

Lumina Ventures is looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Lusaka facility. The Operations Manager will ensure efficient and effective production processes, manage resources, and lead a team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of all processes.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Manage and optimize production schedules, inventory, and workflow.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in operational software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
