Job Description:

North Star is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate our operations in Lusaka. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the organization’s operations, managing resources, and improving operational systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies and strategies.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with different departments to improve performance and work efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Manage and mentor operations team members.
• Handle client and vendor relationships.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operations management software.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Skills:

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in operations management.
