Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate to fit the position of Operations Manager. The position will report to the Board of Directors and will have the overall responsibility of developing and implementing a sustainable, successful operation, ensuring the efficient and effective management of resources.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management within the agriculture sector, a deep understanding of supply chain logistics, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to optimize store operations. They will be expected to deliver ambitious growth through scaling, diversification, revenue growth and client acquisition

A hands-on management style will be required to continuously review and analyze the entire organization’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, logistics and customer service.

· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability

· Manage the supply chain

· Lead the management team to ensure that employees are motivated and capable of achieving business goals through appropriate recruitment, training, appraisal, and organizational development strategies

· Lead and mentor a team of operational staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

· Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective operations and oversee financial performance of the retail operations

· Ensure compliance with corporate policies, company agreements and relevant legal, health & safety and industry standards.

· Manage franchise and brand compliance.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors’ Degree in, Business Administration, Agriculture Economics, Agribusiness, Operations/ Retail Management, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in Agriculture sector

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

· Proven ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies within established timelines and budgets

· Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.

· Proficiency in relevant software and tools
