Job Overview:
As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing visual problems. Your expertise will help patients achieve optimal eye health and visual acuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough eye examinations and assess visual acuity.
• Diagnose and manage eye conditions and diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow up on treatment progress.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists for referrals when necessary.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid practicing license as an optometrist in Zambia.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometric procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
