Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces for painting by removing old paint or wallpaper, cleaning and sanding surfaces, and filling cracks and holes
- Mixing and applying paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Creating decorative finishes such as textures, stencils, or murals
- Applying varnish, lacquer, or other sealers to protect finished surfaces
- Cleaning up work areas and equipment after completing a job
Requirements:
- Craft certificate in painting
- At least 5 years of experience in the painting industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends if required
