Mulungushi Innovations is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and creating a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Key Responsibilities:

Pastry Preparation:
Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, including cakes, cookies, tarts, and breads. Ensure all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Recipe Development:
Create new pastry recipes and refine existing ones to enhance flavor, texture, and appearance. Experiment with seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques to delight customers.

Inventory Management:
Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies. Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked and organized.

Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for taste, texture, and visual appeal. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food preparation and handling processes.

Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Communicate effectively regarding menu items and special requests from clients.

Training and Mentoring:
Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff and apprentices. Share knowledge and techniques to enhance the overall skill level of the team.
