People & Culture Associate – Kaoma
Based in Kaoma, the position exists to provide human resource administration support to the site office and is responsible for enforcing policies and procedures and ensuring they are being applied efficiently and consistently.
Position:
As People & Culture Associate, you will:

Facilitate recruitment for the site in line with our recruitment and selection procedures and assist in planning and monitoring of seasonal headcount, preparation of contracts and onboarding is conducted and documented for all hires.

Oranize, maintain, and update internal databases for both physical and digital personnel records of employee throughout the employee lifecycle.

Ensure that service level agreements with service providers in respect of cleaning and canteen services are delivered and recommend corrective measures where necessary.

Oversee timesheet management, including capturing of overtime claims and leave for seasonal employees are fully approved and submitted for payroll processing.

Assist with the smooth-running of the local office, making sure that company administration and People & Culture procedures are followed.
Requirements:

Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resource Management
-
Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
-
At least 4 years of well-rounded experience with 2 years in human resource management and general administration
-
Office management, relationship management, recruitment and selection, labour relations, payroll support.

Strong communication, decision-making, inter-personal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-
Fluent in oral and written English.
