Reporting to People & Culture Business Partner Manager – Lusaka

People & Culture Trainee – Lusaka

The traineeship exists to provide human resource administration experience to the incumbent.

Position

The program is based on the following fundamental learning activities

Human Resource

  • Recruitment and Inductions
  • Ensure management and adherence of Policies and Procedures
  • Timesheet management, including capturing of overtime claims and leave for seasonal employees are fully approved and submitted for payroll processing

Administration

  • Office administration.
  • PR creations, invoice management & vendor account reconciliation
  • Accommodation and flight bookings

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • Experience in human resource management and general administration will be an added benefit
  • Being accurate, structured, well-organized with strong attention to details, strong interpersonal & communication skills, pro-active, with strong sense of urgency and autonomous but team-oriented
  • Ability to adhere to highest confidentiality standards
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
