Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join the team. As a Pharmacist at the newly established pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications while providing personalized care and guidance to our patients.
Key Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with pharmacy regulations and guidelines.

Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.

Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles to ensure continuity of care.

Monitor prescription inventory levels and place orders for medications and supplies as needed.

Participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications

Diploma in Pharmacy.

Degree in Pharmacy will be an added advantage.

One (1) to two (2) years’ progressive experience

Must be registered with Health Practitioners Council of Zambia (HPCZ)

Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including drug interactions, dosage forms, and pharmacokinetics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
