Job Purpose/Mission

Design, installations, and maintenance of PV systems

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs and other structures
• Design PV systems using licensed software or excel i.e. PVsyst, Helioscope, Homer Pro
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations
• Conducts load analysis from customers through site visits
• Working with global team on equipment sourcing and other duties that may arise
• Follows building standards and codes when installing panels and other support structures
• Inspects electrical installation and wiring
• Tests operating voltages; calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power limits
• Ensures that equipment is whether sealed
• Performs routine maintenance on PV systems
• Sales and marketing of available systems
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge and skills

Experience :

• Experience with photovoltaic installations
• Minimum of at least one year experience
• Sales and marketing is added advantage

Qualifications :

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• English

• Must be computer literate
