The first Crucible school, Crucible Lusaka, will launch in Zambia in January 2025, initially educating senior secondary students before a later expansion to junior secondary. Students will sit Cambridge International A level examinations in preparation for entry to top global universities. They will study a focussed (examined) STEM curriculum alongside Crucible’s (unexamined) Arts curriculum. They will develop deep leadership skills through a range of extra-curricular activities in a boarding school environment.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a special teacher that can develop and deliver an exceptional course that creates a deep understanding of physics, building on students’ interests and questions, that excites them about the subject, whilst preparing for acceptance to the world’s best universities through Cambridge International AS and A level examinations in physics.
As a new, small and innovative school, the role will go beyond teaching physics with the successful candidate providing mentoring, support for project based learning and beyond.
