Policy Service Supervisor
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
KEY RESULT AREAS AND RELATED ACTIVITES

Ensure on a daily basis that premium collections across all locations are reconciled with receipts issued and the collections are banked the following day on a daily basis.

Ensure that data accuracy is maintained continuously.

Must ensure prudent management of direct debit collections and must pursue all collections which are unpaid or rejected to ensure it is correctly allocated to individual policies.

Ensure that all unpaid premiums are allocated and liaise with IT department to ensure regular system run to determine lapsed policies.

Ensure that group payments from companies are allocated to individual policies and effectively reconciled between premium due and premium paid on a monthly basis.

Must effectively interact with Banks, groups and companies to ensure that premiums are collected regularly, monthly statements are provided to groups on a timely basis, rejections and non-payments are processed on a daily basis.

Must receive and receipt payments from corporate clients.

Must resolve queries around refunds, wrong charges, and related issues.

Ensure that all claims are processed and closed on a timely basis.

Ensure that commission payments to staff and/or agents which is generated from system is accurate and correct.

Assist the Employer in improving business process, internal controls and assisting in designing and implementing new systems.

Do and manage all other tasks related to premium administration as required by circumstances from time to time.

Work closely with the Finance department to ensure timely submission of information to underwriter on premiums collected, claims processed for each month.

Demonstrate good leadership qualities and act as role model and mentor to employees within the Group.

Such other tasks as may be delegated to you by the Employer from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have at least 3 years of experience in an insurance organisation

Must have a degree in a relevant field.
